Safe services for moms include: Microdermabrasion Dermaplane Facial (the best deep exfoliation treatment for expecting or new moms!) Gentle chemical peel with NOON in-clinic peels. Does Microneedling hurt?It mostly tickles, and with topical numbing, the appointment is very comfortable, and pain-free. The most sensitive areas to have treated are the nose, around the eyes, and over the lips. Needle depth is adjusted to accommodate any sensitivity. Nanoneedling - is shallow enough that it does not require numbing, and is a very comfortable, shorter service. Microneedling - Numbing is generally recommended since the treatment is deeper and closer to the nerves. The appointment time allows for an additional 20 - 30 minutes for numbing. Click here to visit the Microneedling page for more in-depth information. See you soon!!
-
What is the difference between Microneedling and Nanoneedling?Nanoneedling is essentially Microneedling at a lower treatment depth. I use the same device (MDPen) for Nanoneedling, just with a different needle set for lesser depth. Because the needles are not penetrating as deep, numbing is not required! This is a comfortable service that is recommended with a Dermaplane pre-treatment for best results. Click here to book your next appointment. See you soon!!

I get Botox, Dermal Fillers, and/or PDO Threads. Can I also do Microneedling?Absolutely! In fact, Microneedling will improve the visible results from PDO Threads, dermal fillers and neuromodulators. Because Microneedling can also be done without heat, there is no risk to areas treated with Botox. Heat modalities like radiofrequency, IPL, and BBL will cause the premature breakdown of neurotoxin products, diminishing your results. No heat = safe for Botox! Click here to book your next appointment. See you soon!!

How does Microneedling improve Botox and Dermal Filler?Microneedling improves the tone and texture of your skin, improving the appearance and effect of your Botox and dermal filler. Good skin texture and tone = less filler and Botox needed! Microneedling Basics Microneedling - causes micro-trauma to the deep skin tissues and fibers stimulating the body's natural healing process. Through this process, the body repairs and strengthens these supportive fibers and tissues. With several treatments, pores shrink, and our skin becomes firm and supported from the inside naturally! Microneedling + PRP - utilizes plasma from our circulatory system (blood) to speed-up healing time, and boost collagen and elastin repair. Think of PRP as a giant boost to microneedling benefits! Microneedling + PDO AfterGlo™ HA Serum - This first of its kind skin booster with the equivalent of 1,000 PDO threads in powder form suspended in Hyaluronic Acid that when used with superficial microneedling or post lasers can help skin appear brighter while providing a long-lasting glow. This serum improves fine lines and wrinkles while stimulating your natural collagen production! Click here to book your next Microneedling treatment online. See you soon!!

What areas can be treated with Microneedling?Common treatment areas: Face Neck Décolleté Acne Scars Stretchmarks - anywhere on the body due to exercise, weight loss, and/or pregnancy Non-Keloid Scars - anywhere on the body due to injury or surgical (scars must be older than 6 months) Click here to make an appointment online. What is the down time with Microneedling and Nanoneedling?Microneedling will leave you quite flushed for a few hours after treatment, nanoneedling less so. You can expect your skin to feel dry, tight, or like it has a mild sunburn on treatment day, and potentially the day after. Any redness and should diminish significantly over the two days following microneedling services. Post-treatment photos, makeup-free, no filter: The image on the left shows immediately following a microneedling treatment, and 24-hours later on the right. As you can see, the client's face is quite red and shiny. The shine is due to the Hyaluronic Acid Serum during treatment, and Growth Factor Gel applied after. The following morning, the redness looks more like a healthy glow and has reduced significantly. The client reported no pain or discomfort the morning following microneedling. Treatment areas: Full Face (including lips and eye orbit); Neck; Décolleté Boost the treatment with PRP or PDO AfterGlo™ HA serum! Microneedling with PRP - utilizes plasma from our circulatory system (blood) to speed-up healing time, and boost collagen and elastin repair. (aka - Vampire Facial). Think of PRP as a giant boost to the benefits of microneedling! PDO AfterGlo™ HA Serum - This first of its kind skin booster with the equivalent of 1,000 PDO threads in powder form suspended in Hyaluronic Acid that when used with superficial microneedling or post lasers can help skin appear brighter while providing a long-lasting glow. This serum improves fine lines and wrinkles while stimulating your natural collagen production! This is my favorite treatment for improving tone and texture naturally. What is a chemical peel, and why should I have one? What is a chemical peel? There are 2 types of skin exfoliation, mechanical (scrubs, microdermabrasion, or dermaplane) and chemical (use of acids). Chemical peels use different types low pH products to loosen the adhesion between the dry, superficial skin cells so they can exfoliate off and reveal healthy cells below. Different types of acids address different skin concerns including: hyperpigmentation and sun damage, acne, rosacea, seborrhea, dermatitis, dry skin, aging skin, and inflammatory skin conditions. Why should I give it a try? Chemical peels are an excellent way to exfoliate without causing irritation to inflamed, or irritated skin. They help stimulate cell turnover to promote a healthy, more radiant complexion. Treatment area(s) - Face, neck, décolleté. Additional area(s) - Acne on the chest, back and/or shoulders. If anything, you may see some very light flaking around days 3 to 5. Light flaking is an expected outcome, sheet peeling is not. Click here to book online and get the best skin of your life! What kind of chemical peel do I need? There are several different types of acids used in clinical skincare. This office uses NOON Aesthetics products supported by clinical research with proven effectiveness! NOON Aesthetics clinical skincare is the original "no-peel, peel." Chemical Peel Basics Glycolic Acid - Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) is a water soluble acid. It targets dry skin, and aging skin. This is the gold-standard acid for optimal aging. Goals: Increase cell turn-over, hydrate the skin, strengthen it, and reveal a healthy glow! Salicylic Acid - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) is an oil soluble acid. It targets acne, rosacea, and seborrhea by following the hair strands into the pore to effectively address oily skin disorders. Goals: Reduce bacteria and other microbes, reduce inflammation, reduce and stabilize oil production! Pyruvic Acid - Alpha-keto Acid (AKA) has oil and water solubility. It targets everything glycolic and salicylic acid do with the added benefit of brightening the skin! Goals: Increase cell turn-over, hydrate the skin, reduce bacteria and microbes, brighten, reduce folliculitis! Lactic Acid - Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) is a water soluble acid. Similar to glycolic acid, lactic acid is typically used to hydrate and stimulate cell turnover. Goals: Boost for all the other skincare in your routine and reduce inflammation! Citric Acid - Water soluble acid that induces collagen I and procollagen II proliferation. This acid promotes an even skin tone while addressing sun and pigment damage. Goals: Even the skin tone, reduce dark spots, and stimulate collagen production! Ready to improve your skincare routine?! Click here to make an appointment online. See you soon!!
